Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In San Jose
Rachel Murphy was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog Toto went through over the weekend. Rachel claims that a groomer taped Toto r’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."
Wow! My Dog mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.
Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company click here is guilty of animal cruelty.
Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The wounds were so severe they caused bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas is a Wow! My Dog customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
